There might be a lot of planning that goes into a wedding, but the actual day flies by! At least, it did for me. It’s been awhile since I said “I do” but it’s still one heck of a whirlwind.
At the time, I was 26 and none of my friends were even in serious relationships, so I didn’t feel a ton of motivation to go all out for our reception. I was also one of those super laid back brides that was perfectly content letting her mom finalize the details. Looking back on it, I do wish I took more initiative and really savored all the fun that goes into planning.
Fortunately, I now have friends getting married and am able to live vicariously through them. With each wedding I attend, I’m more impressed by the creativity that goes into each step, from sending out “save the dates” to walking down the aisle.
Speaking of my creative friends, several of them said they used Basic Invite. In short, they’re a go-to for modern wedding invites, with more than options and customizations than you can count.
The first thing I noticed when popping onto their site is that there are so many color options. This is super important if you’ve already picked out your color scheme. There are 180 color options and you also have the option to print a custom sample of the invitation before sending it out to your friends and family. The last thing you want to do is re-print your invitations because you don’t like how it looks, so this feature saves both time and money.
Another really cool perk of using Basic Invite is that they’re not offering free personal wedding websites for engaged couples. We never created a website for our wedding and while this might have made our lives easier, it did make communication a bit tougher to tackle.
Their interface is really simple, and similar to their invitations, everything is customizable. You can upload all of your wedding details along with images and a map with directions for guests to view. There are 180 custom colors to choose from, so it’s easy to match the website to your chosen invitations design.
Other fun perks
Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes – Your invitations won’t be the only thing that pops. Basic Invite’s envelopes are just as colorful. Choose from over 40 different colors so that you make a big first impression. All envelopes are peel and seal for convenience.
Over 800 Wedding Invitation Sets – Like I mentioned before, you might want to keep the same design theme across all your wedding materials. This includes enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs and even matching thank you cards.
Free Address Collection Service – This is a lifesaver, especially for large weddings. The free service allows you to request your addresses in three steps. You’ll share a link, collect the addresses and then get free envelope printing.
